Ashford Gingerbread relies on income raised throughout the year to sustain and develop the group.   Our main sources of funding come from:

• Annual membership fees.
  

• Events, such as quiz nights and sponsored activities
  

• Donations (usually material).
  

• Sponsorship.
  

This money is used to provide a meeting place, material resources, and activities for the children, and parental training.   

Fundraising

Why should you help Ashford Gingerbread?

Unfortunately, almost everyone knows a lone parent these days, and very few of them conform to the media stereotype.  However, the very nature of their circumstances mean that most lone parents  have very little disposable incomes.   Our group is no exception, and while the vast majority of our members have jobs, some are in a position only to undertake part time work, or suffer from very expensive childcare costs needed to allow them to work full time.   Therefore, we cannot survive without external help.

How you can help.

• Sponsorship - support one of our projects or events.
  

• Gifts in kind - donate your services or product, or subsidised/free admission.   
  

• Nominate us as your annual charity.
  

• A one-off donation.
  

• Become a support member.
